Not the weekend I was hoping for, but we all had a good expirence anyhow.

Came in to Rock Hill on Friday afternoon just in time to hit practice - what a place!  I could only wish to race here all the time!  Decided not to race on Friday night - just relax and take it all in.

Saturday practice was uneventful - tried some different lines and just worked on figuring things out.  The weather was great and just waited for race time.

First moto I came out of the gate slow, worked my way up through the pack to get third - needed second so it's on to the next moto. Second moto -better gate start this time and worked the turns to my advantage - first place and on to my semi.  In the semi another OK gate - worked up to third and on to my main

Rain Delay - just what we all wanted.  Finally time for the mains. Everyone came off together and I could see this was not going to be good - almost everyone was taken out over the second jump.  I got up quick, found my bike a took off - in fourth right now, ran it hard till the end and passed one rider at the line for third - I'll take it.

Sunday was not looking good from the start - misty and cold. A couple of people dropped out so we don't have Semi's - straight to qualifing for the main.

 In the first moto I had an ok gate and worked my way around to third, not good enough so on to the second moto.  Second moto much better gate start, worked the turns and  pumped my way to second - on to the main!

Not the start I wanted in the main, came off the gate seond to last, made a move in the turn to take a couple spots, powered down the second straight to get another.  First couple guys are gone - settled for fourth.

Ended up being ranked 5th for East Coast Region - just 1 point out of third place.  Pretty good overall, but not what I wanted.  So it's back to training, working on gates and on to race Nationals from this point on.
