OPENING DAY
We will kick off the 2017 season in a BIG way!!! Saturday, April 15th registration opens at 10:30AM with a FREE clinic at 11:00AM, hosted by Justin Posey, Alec Bob and Christopher White. Clinic will run from 11:00AM-12:30PM. You MUST be registered to race to attend the FREE clinic. Open practice from 12:30PM-1:30PM for registered riders. 2017 Season
As we approach the start of our 2017 season, we would lke to give you an update on some changes being made this season. As most of you know, Derby City BMX underwent a major rebuild last year. With growth and change comes expense increases across the board, more track maintenance, higher utilities, etc... SCHEDULE UPDATE
Due to the NCAA Cross Country Meet being held at Tom Sawyer Park next weekend, we will have to cancel next Saturday's race. We will continue to hold gate practice thru November 21st 6-8pm.

RACING UPDATE
Derby City BMX is back and better than ever!!! It has been a long road with lots of bumps along the way, but we are proud to say, we are ready to race!!! We have scheduled the rest of the seasons races and have a jammed packed calendar. From double header weekends, to multi point races, we have lots of races and practices scheduled. TRACK REBUILD UPDATE
As you all know the track is undergoing a rebuild starting today. This week consists of utility marking, tree marking, setting up temporary electric for the work site, removing fencing, setting up temporary work site fencing and preparation for demolition. If everything goes a planned, the demolition phase could begin this week. After the demolition phase is complete, the construction of the starting hills will begin. TRACK REBUILD
Rebuild construction will begin on Monday 5/9/16. As of Monday, the track WILL BE CLOSED until construction is complete. We will post updates on the progress as it becomes avaliable.

Due to "Thunder Over Louisville" on Saturday 4/23/2016, we will race Sunday 4/24/2016. Registration 12:00-1:30pm race ASAP.

Track Rebuild
There has been a lot of activity going on during the offseason this year. The Louisville Sports Commission has been working hard advocating for Derby CIty BMX to bring us a state of the art Supercross Track in addition to improving our current facility. The Sports Commission has been raising money through donations and sponsorships in addition to negotiating with USA BMX, local contractors and architects.
