2025 Season Update
As many of you know, the property that MadTown BMX currently calls home in DeForest was listed for sale by the landowner in September 2024. We’ve since been informed that an offer has been accepted on the land as the area is part of a growing industrial park. This news means that MadTown BMX will end operations at our current location sometime in 2025. The Village of DeForest is keeping us apprised of the timeline as the property development advances.
In response, the MadTown BMX Board has been actively exploring relocation options. We’ve been in talks with USA BMX, the Village of DeForest, and many surrounding communities in Dane County to find a suitable new home for the track with growth and improvement in mind.
Relocating and rebuilding a BMX track is a monumental task—it will require significant time, effort, and financial resources. The dedication of our Board members and volunteers will be critical, as will the support of our rider community.
We want to be transparent about the future of MadTown BMX for the 2025 season as site plans develop over the weeks/months ahead.
Please note: MadTown BMX is not closed. We are still operating and will continue to do so until the industrial park development begins.
We’ll continue to keep you updated as we work through these challenges. We will be providing future communication and opportunities where help from our fantastic rider community is needed. Thank you for your understanding, support, and commitment to MadTown BMX!
