Covid 19 Stouffville BMX Update - May 7
Covid 19 Stouffville BMX Update
May 7, 2020
Hi Everyone,
We hope you are all well and staying safe. We want to give all of our Stouffville BMX family a little update as to what our plans are for the potential upcoming season. As you know, this pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty with it, including shutdowns, and events getting cancelled or pushed back. Our plans as of today are the same as everyone else's, that is, when Ontario gives the green light to outdoor social activities, we can start to resume our activities and programming at the track. We have created a “Return to BMX Plan” and will share this with everyone once we have more information. Right now, our "stay at home” order could potentially run until mid June. With that being said, as we move closer to that date and more information becomes available, we will be updating our website and other social media outlets.
We hope that you all are staying safe and healthy and ready for riding and racing as soon as things are more clear. Bruce’s Mill Park is currently closed and will remain closed until at least the end of May. Please be advised that Police do monitor the park daily and will issue fines for people that don’t follow the current protocols.
Unfortunately, due to the present circumstances, we will be postponing our Learn to BMX clinics in May as well as postponing our Tiny Seedlings Learn to BMX day in June.
We will continue to keep everyone updated as more information unfolds.
Stay safe and stay home!
