What is the R.A.D. BMX Program at Stouffville BMX?
The R.A.D BMX Program is designed for Expert riders of all ages (Experienced Intermediate riders will be considered with coach approval). The program will focus on skills and tactics of BMX racing including gate start and sprint work, technical skills like pulls, manuals, double manuals, jumping, pumping and an increased focus on tactical training.
Coaches will also work on fitness drills with the athletes, within structured sessions.
R.A.D riders will be competing at the Provincial and National level. Riders will receive a custom R.A.D program shirt and a weekly training program.
R.A.D. BMX program will be led by former National team coach, Brendan Arnold.
The program will run approximately May 6 through August 12, 2023 on Saturdays 8am-10am (final schedule details to be confirmed by the coach).
