Record-setting RACE of CHAMPIONS

The Race of Champions is an invitational. Not just anybody can race the ROC, and have a shot at the red No.1 plate. You have to be Tops in your State - having competed in your State Championship series.

A few years back, when its turnout began to hit the mid-500's, USA BMX decided it was time to make the ROC a 2-day event.  After this year's record-shattering 801 motos; Thank Goodness they did!  The final main still went on late Friday night, pushing back the start time for Friday night's Pro Championship Finals. 

With such an awesome turnout, always comes epic racing. And without a doubt, the best main of the 2021 ROC was 15x; starring the who's-who of the 15 year old ranks - namely Redman ripper Ronnie Kim, BMX Shark'er Cedric Cade and Blackcrown's Gavin Stazetski. With 58 riders, just making it to the final-8 for the Big Show was quite a feat.

Another race that had the crowd siting on the edge of their seats was in 14 girls, with the almost-always unbeatable Danica Anderson and her Ssquared ride. After narrowing down the 34 girls entered, the final eight rolled in to the gate ready for battle.

Finshed? Not quite. While the massive 2021 Race of Champions handed out over 100 red Tangent ROCK #1 plates, remember this is only the PRE-race. Next up; the Pro Champ Finals and then two more days of GRANDS!  

They don't call this weekend the Greatest Race on Earth for the heck of it.
There's PLENTY of action stilll yet to come.
